Each session is 75 minutes, including a brief introduction, a guided art directive, independent reflection, and group discussion. Sessions integrate psychoeducation, somatic practices, and reflective dialogue to support emotional awareness and growth.
Yes—if the group is conducted as psychotherapy (for mental health treatment) and you are an active therapy client. However, HSA/FSA funds cannot be used for non-clinical or wellness-based groups, workshops, or classes that are not considered psychotherapy.
Yes. I provide detailed superbills with all the necessary information (diagnosis code, service code, dates, and fees) if you plan to submit claims for reimbursement through your HSA, FSA, or out-of-network insurance benefits.
I’m an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. However, I can provide superbills that you can submit for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Groups are intentionally small, with 6–8 participants, to allow for a safe and supportive environment with meaningful engagement.
No artistic skill is required. Art is used as a tool for self-expression and reflection, not for evaluation. Any medium is welcome.
Strong emotions are normal in therapeutic exploration. The facilitator provides grounding techniques and reflective prompts. If you need additional support, individual therapy is recommended in parallel with the group.
While not legally bound like private therapy notes, confidentiality is strongly encouraged. Group members are asked to respect the privacy of others’ shared experiences.
No, for therapeutic cohesion, we recommend starting at the beginning of the 10-week cycle. Missing early sessions may reduce the benefit of the structured progression of prompts.
Yes. The 10-week “Awareness & Exploration” group covers prompts 1–10, and the “Integration & Emergence” group covers prompts 11–20.
Yes, the cost of the journal and shipping are included in the total price of the group.
The SEEN group is designed for adults and young adults (18+).
